Originally from Glasgow, and having lived in London for 20 years, I’m now living and working in Ramsgate, East Kent. While the Person-Centred approach is foundational to my practice, I also draw on a range of other ideas and therapeutic approaches, including existential, Gestalt, and solutions-focused therapy. I believe in incorporating creative elements like music, art, and literature—anything that can deepen a client’s awareness and enrich their journey of self-discovery.
My counselling practice is also shaped by an understanding of the social and political contexts that influence our lives. These factors often play a significant role in how we experience ourselves and the world, and I strive to create a space where these dynamics can be explored thoughtfully and meaningfully.
